NNPC/TOTALENERGIES OPENS NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI), operator of PML 2/3/4 and PPL 261, in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), has officially announced the opening of applications for the 2024/2025 NNPC/TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme.

This prestigious scholarship initiative is part of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, targeting deserving full-time undergraduate students in Nigerian universities across all fields of study.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be a 100 or 200 level full-time student in a university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC)
  • Have scored 200 and above in the UTME
  • (For 200 level applicants) Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale

Note: The Following Are Not Eligible

  • 300 level students or higher
  • UTME scores below 200
  • 200 level students with CGPA below 2.5
  • Current beneficiaries of similar oil and gas scholarships

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a nationwide selection test at designated centres. All applicants are responsible for their transportation costs to and from the test venues and are encouraged to select centres closest to them during the application process.

TotalEnergies reserves the right to adjust or cancel the selection process as deemed necessary.
