FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE ABEOKUTA (FUNAAB) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

2025/2026 Admission Exercise

Eligibility Criteria 

General O’Level Requirement

Applicants must possess a minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’Level Credit in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Applicants are advised to Check FUNAAB’s Brochure and confirm the Admission Requirements into respective Degree Programmes before logging in to fill your e-application form.

UTME Candidates

Candidates must have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtained from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), sat for the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 160 marks.

DE Candidates

Candidates with a minimum of Upper-Credit or its equivalent, who have also applied to JAMB for admission and chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as Most Preferred Institution.

Further, they are required to have submitted their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results duly stamped by Director/HOD of the institution graduated from (A’level candidates) to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta not later than Friday, 15th August, 2025.

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Candidates

Admission into 100 Level: Information and Requirements

Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, Computing Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Programmes

In addition to conditions stated in the Eligibility for Admission, candidates are expected to possess five (5) SSC Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.

A Pass in Biology with Credit in Agricultural Science is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.

Candidates applying for Water Resources Management should also possess a Credit in Geography.

Entrepreneurial Studies

Minimum of five (5) O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, a vocational/science subject and any of Economics. Geography or other commercial subjects.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Admission into 200 Level: Information and Requirements

Admission Into 200 Level Agriculture, Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Courses

In addition to the minimum UTME requirement specified at O’Level, candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry candidates are expected to possess a minimum of UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE for admissions into related areas from a recognized institution. At least two A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology/Zoology/Botany are acceptable for admission into 200 Level.

FUNAAB DOES NOT ACCEPT LOWER CREDIT FOR DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION.

Entrepreneurial Studies

In addition to the minimum UTME requirement specified at O’Level for this course, candidates must possess a minimum of UPPER CREDIT at OND/HND or CREDIT at NCE in relevant Discipline or two (2) A’level passes or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, and other Commercial, Vocational, or Science subjects.

Deadline for Submission of Transcript/Statement

DE candidates are further required to have submitted their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results duly stamped by Director/HOD of the institution you graduated from (A’level candidates) to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta not later than Friday, 15th August, 2025.
