All candidates of Lagos State origin who chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 195 and Direct Entry applicants are hereby informed of the commencement of the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.
The SOVE Registration Exercise will start on Monday, 30th June, 2025 and close on Friday, 18th July, 2025
The Verification Interview will run from:
Monday, 21st July, 2025 to Friday, 26th July, 2025
The interview date for each candidate will be specified on the application form.

The SOVE does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

General Information
ONLY candidates of Lagos State Origin are eligible for the screening exercise.
These candidates must have been CLEARED by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) before processing their POST UTME Screening forms.
