Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced the commencement of registration for its 2025 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.
According to an official statement signed by the Registrar, Mr. K. A. Bakare, the online registration portal will open on Monday, July 21, 2025, and close on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
The exercise is open to all UTME candidates who selected OAU as their first choice institution and scored 200 and above, as well as to all Direct Entry applicants.
Registration Procedure:
- Visit the official portal: https://admissions.oauife.edu.ng.
- Log in using UTME Registration Number as Username and Surname as Password.
- Complete the online biodata form.
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) exclusively from the portal.
- Make a payment of ₦2,000.00 (screening fee, excluding portal access charges) either online or at any commercial bank.
- Upon successful payment, log back into the portal to finalize the registration process.
The university emphasized that the screening exercise will be conducted online and that candidates will be required to participate on the dates assigned to them between September 1 and September 5, 2025. Screening schedules will be accessible on the admission portal starting Thursday, August 27, 2025.
OAU further stated that, submission of false information or incorrect credentials will lead to automatic disqualification. In addition, the institution warned against the use of third-party agents, reiterating that it does not endorse any external entity for admission processes.
Candidates are encouraged to consult the detailed eligibility guidelines for UTME, Direct Entry, Foreign, and Disabled applicants, which are available on the admission portal.
