OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY (UNIOSUN) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

2025/2026 ADMISSIONS EXERCISE: NOTICE OF POST-UTME SCREENING

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise will hold for candidates who chose Osun State University as their first choice, or those willing to change their institution and make UNIOSUN their first choice, and who have a minimum score of 160 marks.

However, candidates who scored less than 200 marks will not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes:

  • Nursing
  • Medicine
  • Law
  • Common and Islamic Law

Meanwhile, candidates who selected any of the above-mentioned courses but scored below the prescribed marks are advised to change to any other relevant programme of their choice.

NOTE: In line with the extant National policy, any candidate who will be less than sixteen (16) years of age as of 30th September, 2025 is not eligible to apply.

COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS

Candidates are to register online by accessing the University website: https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

Direct Entry candidates should also complete the form online by visiting: https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. Candidates must ensure they read the admission requirements of the University before applying to any of its programmes.

They are required to forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar, Osun State University, not later than Wednesday, 3rd September, 2025.

All Direct Entry candidates, including those on the UNIOSUN IJMB and JUPEB programmes, who wish to be considered for admission into the 2025/2026 academic session, must have obtained the Direct Entry Form from JAMB and must also apply for the screening exercise.

ELIGIBILITY

UNIOSUN will admit only candidates with at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, except for Medicine, Nursing, and Law, where candidates must possess the required five (5) credit passes in one sitting only.

The University may accept a minimum of Lower Credit for Direct Entry candidates.

Candidates must meticulously provide accurate information on the University portal. Any candidate who provides false information will be prosecuted by relevant law enforcement agencies, and their admission will be withdrawn once discovered.

Please note:

Any fee paid by a candidate who falsifies records/documents will NOT be refunded.

Candidates awaiting results should upload them within one week of release.

Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS)

The 2025/2026 admission exercise will be based on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a platform developed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admission process into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

All candidates are advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a precondition for admission.

MEDICAL EXAMINATION

All candidates who are eventually offered admission will undergo a mandatory medical examination, which includes drug screening.

ACCESS TO THE REGISTRATION PORTAL

Visit the UNIOSUN Post-UTME Portal via https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online application platform. Ensure that you read all registration guidelines and instructions carefully before proceeding to register.

Payment details:

Portal Access Fee: ₦3,000.00 only

Post-UTME Screening Fee: ₦2,000.00 only

All payments should be made through the Remita WebPAY Platform using any of the following:

    • MasterCard
    • Verve Card
    • REMITA-enabled cards

CLOSING DATE

Submission of application forms closes at 12:00 noon on Friday, 19th September, 2025.
