SAM MARIS UNIVERSITY RELEASES POST UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates for provisional admission into the undergraduate programmes of the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Sam Maris University is the first private University licensed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Akoko-Land of Ondo State.  The University is located within a serene and secure environment at Km 2, Etioro-Afaa Road, Supare-Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored a minimum of 150 or obtained the JAMB Direct Entry (DE) Form. Any candidate declared underaged by JAMB is not eligible for admission into Sam Maris University.

Guidelines for Online Application

  1. Visit https://portal.smu.edu.ng/apply.
  2. Create an account by following the step-by-step instructions on the portal.
  3. Log in and make payment of application fee of N10,000.00 only via the University’s Interswitch Payment Gateway.
  4. After successful payment, candidates are to complete the Bio Data and Academic Record forms with valid details.
  5. Print out the Application Form upon completion.

General Instructions

  1. Candidates who did not choose Sam Maris University as their first choice of Institution should visit the JAMB portal to make Sam Maris University, Supare-Akoko their first choice of Institution on the JAMB CAPS.
  2. Candidates are advised to upload their O’ Level (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) results (at not more than two (2) sittings) on the University’s Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS. Direct Entry candidates are also required to upload their O’ Level and A ‘Level results appropriately.
  3. Candidates should ensure that the online form is carefully completed and that all the information provided is accurate.
  4. Candidates are required to submit and print out their Submission Slip and Application Form for future references.
