ADMISSION INTO REGULAR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Southern Delta University, Ozoro, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its full-time undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Eligibility
Candidates who selected Southern Delta University, Ozoro as their first-choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.
Candidates who did not choose the university as their first choice are required to effect a Change of Institution to Southern Delta University, Ozoro via the JAMB portal.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in their National Diploma (ND) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Southern Delta University, Ozoro, is a public institution established by an Act of the Delta State House of Assembly on February 23, 2021. The university was founded in response to the state’s desire for a credible platform to expand access to quality tertiary education, particularly for Deltans and Nigerians at large. The main campus is located in Ozoro, approximately 110 km from Warri, with an additional campus at Orerokpe in Okpe Local Government Area.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
UTME candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or their equivalent.
Direct Entry candidates must possess at least an Upper Credit in ND, NCE, or equivalent qualification in relevant fields.
METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application Steps:
1. Click on “Apply” under the Admission menu.
2. Begin registration by providing your JAMB details.
3. Make a payment of ₦2,000 only using your preferred payment method (ATM card, bank transfer, etc.).
4. Upload a red-background passport photograph (not more than 500KB).
5. Fill in your personal and academic information.
6. Review for corrections and submit the application.
7. Print a copy of the completed form for your records.
