UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR (UNICAL) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

POST UTME/DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Calabar invites applications from suitable JAMB UTME candidates for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. Interested candidates are to be guided by the following information.

OPENING OF PORTAL / REGISTRATION

Registration will start from Friday, July 18th, 2025 when the portal will open for that purpose.

Payment and Registration Procedure

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Candidates are to make a Non-refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira ₦2,000.00 only through the following options available:

• E-tranzact option:

This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank you will be required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN, log into the portal http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link then follow the instructions on the portal after login.

• Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option:

This option gives access to purchase post-UTME pin from the portal. Click Buy Post-UTME Pin Online to purchase the post-UTME pin online. Login with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.

After getting theprintout from the bank, proceed with the following:

• LOG ON TO http://www.myunical.edu.ngand click on the UTME Admission Screening link
• On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration Number in the box provided
• Enter the confirmation order number or TRANSACTION ID in the box provided
• Click on login and follow the online instructions.
• Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT
• Print out the completed form.

OPENING OF PORTAL/REGISTRATION

Registration will start from Friday, July 18th, 2025 when the portal will open for that purpose.
Please note that the portal will however be shut down at 12.00 mid night on Monday August 04, 2025 (3weeks).

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:

• Submit a valid email address and personal phone number in your application.

Note: University of Calabar will not be responsible for any unsuccessful applications as a result of invalid email address(es) and telephone number(s).
University of Calabar in compliance to the ‘CCMAS’ does not accept O’Level result at TWO SITTING for Medicine and Surgery as well as Dentistry & Dental Surgery.

7. DATE OF POST-UTME EXERCISE:

The date for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise would be made known upon completion of the application, on the PUTME Screening Schedule Printout.

8. ITEMS FOR SCREENING TEST:

1. Candidates are to bring the following for the screening test:
• POST-UTME Screening Schedule Printout
• 2025/2026 JAMB UTME Result Slip
2. DO NOT bring the following items into the screening test hall:

• Mathematical tables
• Calculators
• Smart phones & Smart-watches
• Bags of any kind

All the items in 8(b) above will be confiscated, if brought into the screening hall. The University of Calabar will not be held liable for loss or seizure of any item brought into the examination venue by candidates.

9. DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES, ORDINARY LEVEL RESULT GRADES (WAEC, NECO OR NABTEB) AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION
