3. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
General Entry Requirements for National Diploma (ND) ProgrammesSenior School Certificates Examination (WAEC/NECO & NABTEB) with at least five (5) credits obtained at not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects from the minimum entry requirements specified in the current JAMB Brochure.
4. METHOD OF APPLICATION/INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS
(i) This is to inform Part Time candidates that application for Part Time Admission is presently available on JAMB Portal. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made it mandatory for candidates applying for admissions into non-regular programme in any tertiary institution in the country to apply through JAMB, to process their admission on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). This will enable them to print their JAMB Admission Letter.
Guidelines for Application for Part Time Admission/Registration on JAMB Portal
- Create a JAMB Profile
- Visit any JAMB Accredited Centre
- Apply for Part Time Admission on JAMB Portal to generate your JAMB Registration number
- Pick Yaba College of Technology as Institution of choice
- Pick Course of preference
- Correction of name(s) must be done before accessing JAMB Portal for Part Time Admissions/Registration.
- Name(s) on your O’Level results will be the Bench Mark for Registration.
- Registration for Part Time Admissions on JAMB Portal is compulsory for all Part Time candidates.
(ii) Processing of Application on College Portal
All candidates are to visit the College Portal and pay processing fee as indicated on the portal. Payment can be made online or in the bank. The College does not accept cash payment. Candidates should follow the instructions on the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ngto complete the on-line processing of application form and submit.
Please note the following:
- Campus of preference should be clearly indicated by candidates for programmes that run in both Yaba and Epe Campuses
- For further details on available programmes of study and entry requirements, visit Yabatech website at www.yabatech.edu.ng
- The deadline for submission of application is six (6) weeks from the date of publication.
- Any application received after deadline will not be considered.
