EDO STATE UNIVERSITY IYAMHO ANNOUNCES INDIGENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Edo State University Iyamho has announced the commencement of applications for its Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The scholarship, approved by the Edo State Government under the leadership of Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, is designed to provide partial tuition support to deserving indigent students of Edo State origin who scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME.
Up to 100 scholarships will be awarded, covering tuition fees for the duration of the chosen programme. However, courses such as Medicine, Nursing, Law, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering are excluded from the scheme.
Eligible candidates must:
• Be of Edo State origin
• Score at least 180 in the 2025/2026 UTME
• Meet admission requirements for their chosen course
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English through a Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Provide proof of indigency

Deadline For Application:
The deadline for application is 10th March 2026, while CBT screening and interviews are scheduled for 19th March 2026.
