The appointments were approved by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Ayodeji Olawunmi Badejo, FCASSON, FAPROCON, MNAE, as part of the university's administrative arrangements.
Prof. Olugbenga Akindoju Appointed LASUSBAS Director
Professor Olugbenga Gabriel Akindoju, from the Department of Science and Technology Education, Faculty of Education, has been appointed as the new Director of the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies (LASUSBAS).
His tenure is scheduled to run for three years, commencing on October 15, 2026, and ending on October 14, 2029.
Prof. Abideen Tijani Takes Over at LASU Ventures
The university has also appointed Professor Abideen Adekunle Tijani of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, as Director of Lagos State University Ventures Limited.
His appointment takes effect from September 28, 2026, and will run for a period of three years, ending on September 27, 2029.
Dr Enitan Falade Appointed Assistant Director
In another appointment, Dr Enitan Omolara Falade of the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, has been named Assistant Director of the Sandwich Degree Programme at LASU.
She will serve in the position for two years, beginning September 28, 2026, and ending September 27, 2028.

The Vice-Chancellor extended his best wishes to the three appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to effectively discharge the responsibilities attached to their respective offices.
The appointments take effect on the dates specified by the university and cover key areas of LASU's academic, commercial and continuing education operations.
