The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has commenced the registration process for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for National Diploma (ND) Full-Time programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective candidates must:
- Choose Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic as their first choice institution.
- Score a minimum of 100 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Be at least 16 years of age by 30th September 2025.

Application Process
Visit the Polytechnic’s website at: www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng
Click on “Online Application”, then generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) using:
JAMB Registration Number
Full Name
Phone Number
Proceed to any commercial bank to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000, inclusive of bank charges.
Return to the portal to complete and submit the application form.
Print the acknowledgement slip as proof of successful registration.
Required Uploads on the Portal
- JAMB slip showing candidate’s photograph
- JAMB online result
- Other relevant academic credentials
- Valid scratch card for WAEC/NECO result verification
Candidates must also upload their WAEC/NECO results to both JAMB and Polytechnic portals.
Important Notes
- Screening date will be announced at a later time.
- Results of the screening will be published accordingly.
- Closing date for registration: Wednesday, August 20, 2025
