Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), has commenced registration for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise.
According to the announcement signed by the University Registrar, Olugbenga Arajulu, FCAI, JP, the screening registration began on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and is open to:
- Candidates who made AAUA their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 UTME and scored 160 and above.
- Direct Entry candidates who selected AAUA as their first choice.
- Candidates willing to change their first-choice institution to AAUA and have a minimum UTME score of 160.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
Application Process
Eligible candidates are to:
- Visit https://putme.aaua.edu.ng.
- Create an account with their JAMB registration number and a valid email address.
- Confirm their email through a verification link sent to their inbox.
- Log in and make a payment of ₦5,000 (₦2,000 for Post-UTME registration and ₦3,000 for portal access).
- Complete their biodata details and upload all required O’Level results (a maximum of two sittings).
- Print out the completed biodata slip for future reference.
The University accepts WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB O’Level results, as well as 1st Degree (Second Class Lower Division), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points) for Direct Entry applicants.
Candidates awaiting O’Level results may also apply but must upload them to both the University portal and JAMB CAPS once released. All applicants must check the O’Level subject requirements for their intended course of study and ensure proper UTME subject combinations.
Important Notes
- Mistakes or falsified documents during registration will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Participation in the online screening exercise is compulsory for all applicants.
- Candidates are to provide valid email addresses and active phone numbers for communication, as the University will not be liable for failed contact due to incorrect details.
- The University does not operate through any admission agents.
Closing Date
The online screening portal will remain open for registration until further notice. Candidates are advised to complete their applications promptly and adhere strictly to all guidelines.
