Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Ikot Akpaden, has commenced online registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for admission into the university’s wide range of undergraduate programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have chosen AKSU as their first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME.
- Have scored 150 and above in the UTME.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as HND, ND, NCE, or A-Level certificates.
Registration Timeline
- Start Date: Monday, July 21, 2025
- Closing Date: Friday, August 29, 2025

Registration Procedure
- Visit https://www.aksu.edu.ng/app
- Click “START NOW”, then “Enrol” and select “PUTME”
- Input your JAMB Registration Number
- Click the arrow to verify and proceed
- Pay the registration fee of ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) via debit card or bank transfer
- Upload scanned copies of required documents in
.jpgformat (120–150KB per file) - Verify your entries and click “Finish” to generate your Registration Confirmation Slip
Important Notes:
- Candidates with awaiting O’Level results may apply but must ensure they upload their results to the JAMB CAPS portal via an accredited CBT centre.
- Admissions not accepted within four weeks of offer will be voided and flagged as “refused”, affecting future eligibility.
- The University does not authorize any agents or individuals for admissions. All transactions should be done strictly via the official portal.
