The management of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) — formerly Benue State University — has commenced its Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a notice signed by the Registrar, Mr. Barnabas Terfa Hemba, the screening registration exercise will run from Wednesday, July 23 to Friday, August 22, 2025. All interested and eligible candidates are expected to register within this period.
Who is Eligible?
Candidates must have:
- Scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME.
- Selected MOAUM as their first choice institution or changed to MOAUM as first choice via the JAMB portal.
- Obtained five (5) relevant credit-level O’Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- For Direct Entry (DE), candidates must also upload their A-Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
Faculty-Based Cut-Off Marks:

Note: Candidates who applied for Nursing Science are advised to change to other available options, as the programme is currently not open for admission.
Mandatory Requirement
- All UTME and DE applicants must upload their O’Level and A’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal to be eligible for consideration. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
How to Apply
- Visit the university portal at www.bsum.edu.ng.
- Under “APPLICATIONS”, select “POST UTME/DE”.
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click “VERIFY”.
- Proceed to payment by clicking “PROCEED”.
- Pay the N2,000 screening fee via the provided e-payment platform.
- After payment, return to the portal and click on the “Continue UTME/DE Application” link under the admission menu.
- Complete the application form and print your registration slip for reference.

- The screening registration closes on Friday, August 22, 2025.
