The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, has officially commenced its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution invites applications from suitably qualified candidates into its various full-time and part-time National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Open Distance Flexible E-Learning (ODFEL) programmes across multiple disciplines.
- NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) FULL-TIME POST-UTME SCREENING
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as First Choice Institution in the 2025 UTME.
- Scored a minimum of 100 marks in the UTME.
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB).
- Awaiting results are allowed but must upload them once released.

- HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES
Entry Requirements:
- ND Certificate with minimum of Lower Credit in a related discipline.
- One-year post-ND Industrial Training (IT).
- Academic Transcript from previous institution must be sent to the Polytechnic and received before registration.
- Candidates must upload all credentials in PDF format via the application portal.
Available Schools and HND Courses:
(Same as ND, depending on specialization. Most ND courses are available at HND level.)
- ND PART-TIME (EVENING) & ND ODFEL (Open Distance Flexible E-Learning)
Requirements:
- Same as ND Full-Time.
- Candidates must purchase the JAMB Part-Time/Distance Learning Form from the JAMB office.
- Only candidates with completed JAMB Part-Time/Distance Learning Forms will be considered.
Courses Offered:
Same as ND Full-Time, offered in evening or distance-learning mode.
- HND WEEKEND (Friday–Sunday) & HND ODFEL PROGRAMMES
Entry Requirements:
- Same as HND Full-Time (ND certificate with Lower Credit + one-year IT).

METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Visit https://applications.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng
- Select your programme type (ND Full-Time, ND Part-Time, HND, or ODFEL).
- Fill in your correct information (use UTME registration number for ND).
- Generate a Remita (RRR) invoice via the portal.
- Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00 online or at any bank.
- Return to the portal to complete your application and upload:
- Passport photograph
- O’Level result
- ND Certificate (for HND applicants)
- IT Letter (for HND applicants)
- Academic Transcript Receipt or Reference Letter (HND)
- Birth Certificate
- Other relevant credentials in PDF format
IMPORTANT NOTES
- All uploaded documents must be clear, readable, and in PDF format.
- Invoices must be generated from the portal only. The Polytechnic is not responsible for errors resulting from payments made outside the platform.
- No candidate will be registered for HND without an academic transcript.
- Any discrepancy in names across documents will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates are advised to check the portal regularly for updates on exam dates, admission status, and further instructions.
