Auchi Polytechnic has commenced the sale of post-UTME application forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) full-time programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution has also confirmed that eligible applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) screening, and only candidates who participate will be considered for admission.
According to the official notice, all applicants must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored at least 100, in addition to possessing a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
Application Process and Payment Guidelines
Interested candidates are to:
- Visit the Polytechnic’s application portal at www.auchipoly-online.com/jamb_register
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) invoice from the portal.
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 at any commercial bank or online using the RRR.
- Use their UTME registration number as the username and phone number as password to access the portal.
- Upload all necessary credentials and complete the online eligibility clearance form (if required).
Candidates are strongly advised not to use cybercafé phone numbers or email addresses, as such could hinder essential communication from the institution.
“The Polytechnic will not be liable for any candidate’s inability to receive vital information due to incorrect contact details,” the notice warns.
Important Admission Notes
- Auchi Polytechnic will only admit candidates who selected it as their first-choice institution. Applicants who initially chose another institution are encouraged to change to Auchi Poly on the JAMB portal.
- Candidates awaiting O’level results may apply but must upload them once released.
- O’Level requirements are department specific. For example:
- Mass Communication requires credit passes in English, Mathematics, Literature-in-English, and two other relevant subjects.
- Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) requires credits in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
No Second Chances for Missed Screening
Auchi Polytechnic has reiterated that screening will be by CBT for both ND and HND candidates, and candidates who miss the test will not be considered for admission under any circumstances. Additionally, the screening scores are not publicly released.
Upon admission, candidates are expected to pay acceptance and school fees together—with no provision for part payments.
