The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), Bauchi State, has announced the commencement of its online screening exercise for prospective candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In an official circular dated 5th August 2025, signed by the Registrar, Ali Ahmed Adamu, the University stated that the screening registration will begin on Wednesday, 7th August and close on Wednesday, 21st August 2025.
The University Senate, in line with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy, has approved the following cut-off points for admission into its programmes:
Approved Cut-Off Marks
- MBBS and BDS Dentistry – 220 and above
- Nursing Sciences, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Radiography, BMLS, Audiology – 200 and above
- Nutrition and Dietetics, Information Technology and Health Informatics, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Health Information Management, Public Health, Pharmacology – 160 and above
- Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology – 150 and above
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission and screening, candidates must:
- Have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored the minimum cut-off point for their chosen course.
- Have selected FUHSA as their first-choice institution.
- Possess at least five relevant O’Level credits (including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Have sat for the correct UTME subject combination relevant to their intended programme.
Screening Process
Eligible candidates are to visit the University’s official website at www.fuhsa.edu.ng for detailed registration and screening procedures. The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00), payable online via the screening portal at https://fuhsa.admissions.cloud.
Physical Screening
Physical screening will take place from Tuesday, 26th August to Friday, 29th August 2025. Candidates are to check their acknowledgement slips for their assigned dates and are advised to appear at the venue as scheduled.
The University strongly cautions candidates against responding to any unofficial communication or third-party agents to avoid falling victim to fraud.
