Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has released its guidelines for the 2025/2026 UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise.
According to the university, online registration and upload of O’level results will commence on Monday, August 4, 2025, and end on Friday, September 5, 2025. The screening fee is ₦2,000 only.
The exercise is open to candidates who chose PAAU as their first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME and scored 150 and above. Screening will be based on UTME scores (70%) and O’level results (30%). Candidates are advised to ensure they have the correct UTME subject combinations and at least five O’level credit passes in relevant subjects.
For Direct Entry (DE) candidates, the minimum requirement is Upper Credit for ND, HND, or University Diploma, Merit for NCE, or a recognized first degree. All DE results will be verified through JAMB’s Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (NIPEDS).
Candidates are to apply online via https://eportal.paau.edu.ng/ug/candidate, fill in their credentials correctly, and make payment using debit cards, bank transfers, or other available options. O’level results must also be uploaded on JAMB CAPS, as no admission will be granted without it.
The screening process will commence immediately after the close of online registration, and results will be communicated through the portal. Applicants are advised to monitor both the PAAU portal and JAMB CAPS for admission updates.
The university warned that any candidate found involved in admission irregularities, falsification of results, or double admissions will have their admission withdrawn and may face prosecution.
