Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has announced the commencement of its online Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Joseph U. Bibinu, the online screening will run from August 1 to September 15, 2025.
The University stated that only candidates who selected TSU as their first choice of institution during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
UTME candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME and must present at least five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings. For Direct Entry candidates, the minimum requirement is a Lower Credit at Diploma, NCE or IJMB, alongside five relevant O’Level credits.
Method of Application
Interested candidates are to register online by visiting https://apply.tsuniversity.edu.ng/register.php, creating an account, filling the online form, uploading necessary credentials, and making payment using any MasterCard, Visa, or Verve card. Applicants are expected to print out their payment receipt and acknowledgement slip after successful registration.
The University warned that only candidates who participate in the online screening exercise will be considered for admission, while false declarations may lead to automatic disqualification.
