LASU EXTENDS SECOND SEMESTER COURSE REGISTRATION DEADLINE TO MAY 31, 2026

The extension covers online course registration and fee payment for full-time undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 Second Semester.

DEESWIFT CONSULTS reports that the Lagos State University (LASU) has extended the deadline for online course registration and payment of fees for full-time undergraduate students for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session. The update was discovered on the university’s official course registration portal, where the closing date was revised to Sunday, May 31, 2026.

The extension was earlier backed by the Vice-Chancellor, who had approved both the commencement of online course registration for new and returning undergraduate students and a one-week extension of the academic calendar.

Updated Academic Calendar

With the approved adjustment, the revised schedule is as follows:

Resumption, Registration, and Lectures (New and Returning Students): Ends Sunday, May 31, 2026
Second Semester Examinations: June 1 to June 26, 2026

Purpose of the Extension

The extension is understood to have been granted to allow students who are yet to complete their course registration and fee payment additional time to do so before examinations commence.

Students are advised to take advantage of the extended window and complete all registration requirements on or before the May 31, 2026 deadline to avoid being barred from sitting for their second semester examinations.
