The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course, scheduled to take place across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
According to a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations, the orientation exercise will officially begin on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
NYSC 2026 Batch C Stream II Orientation Schedule
The NYSC management released the following timetable for the exercise:
Registration: Wednesday, November 4 – Friday, November 6, 2026 (midnight)
Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, November 6, 2026
Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, November 24, 2026
The orientation programme will be conducted at designated NYSC orientation camps across the country, including the Federal Capital Territory.
Purpose of the Orientation Course
The NYSC management reiterated the importance of the orientation course as a key part of the national service programme.
The exercise is designed to help corps members develop discipline, promote national unity and integration, and equip them with the necessary knowledge and attitude for a successful service year.
The commencement of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course is expected to bring together thousands of eligible Nigerian graduates who will begin the initial phase of their mandatory one-year national service.
